Take Your Sports Photography to A New Level

The Peter Read Miller Sports Photography Workshop returns to Northern California. Once again students will shoot from the photo wells at the Oakland Coliseum durning an Oakland A's/Minnasota Twins game. They will also shoot from the pitch to cover a San Jose Earthquakes/Portland Timbers MLS match. We will shoot action and portraits at a boxing gym and more....

Students are expected to edit their work every night and present samples the next morning for review and critique,

Peter Will be assisted by former Sports Illustrated Director of Photography Steve Fine. In addition to discussing "what makes a great sports photo", Steve will work with the students on refining and improving their portfolios, Bay Area baseball master Brad Mangin will be joining our staff not only will Brad share his expertise on shooting baseball, but he has a fantastic talk "See The Light & Clean It Up"

Although Canon Cameras will provide a selection of their latest gear for the students to try, the workshop welcomes students shooting with any professional system.. We will also have lighting equipment provided by Westcott Lighting for portrait opportunities,
